I think mane is good but it wasn’t his best season
Yeah, there is a tinge of sadness to see Sadio leave, but there is no sense in keeping a player whose mind lies elsewhere; if we stood in his way, he would only become less happy, his performance would suffer and it would impact on harmony in the dressing room. I think getting such a fee in for a lad in his 30s is good business by Julian Ward, it's more than we paid for him 6 years ago and I think we have replaced him Darwin Nunez who I believe will prove to be a much better finisher than Sadio. We've had Sadio Mané in his best years and now he goes to Germany leaving us with great memories and goodwill.

He was a great player and will be a miss for sure however the game will always evolve he is 30 now so to get 1 last suitable contract for himself is fair enough, if they did meet the asking price we wanted then I see this as good business all round.
