According to Bayern insider and BILD journalist, Christian Falk, Lewandowski is said to be dissatisfied with the way Bayern are playing. Reason: The striker is not a real fan of Julian Nagelsmann’s tactical alignments.

In recent weeks, the coach had attempted using five attackers up front. This inevitably means that Lewandowski comes to less dangerous goalscoring situations. As Falk revealed on Sunday at German TV show “Sky90”, the Polish star is doubting Nagelsmann’s tactics.

This isn’t the first time that Lewandowski had voiced concerns. Back in November 2021, Lewandowski revealed on the media that it is becoming quite hard for him to score goals.

“It hasn’t been easy for me at Bayern lately, situations to find a goal or spaces on the field. When you play with six offensive players and the opponents are very defensive, it’s not easy for a striker.”

Surprisingly, the numbers say different. Lewandowski has scored 39 goals in 32 games this season.

Lewandowski went 90 minutes without a single shot on goal against Salzburg. The Pole also struggled against Fürth in the first half and received a yellow card after a foul.

Although Lewandowski scored a brace, he wasn’t happy with the performance: “We needed a lot of time to get into the game. What we played in the first half was way too slow, we often made wrong decisions”, he told DAZN.
