  1. Raya didn't shot the ball to make it back in play but to give it to Gabi so he make it back in play.

Complaing for this when there's a free kick+penalty not given for Arsenal in the same game is really cringe

  2. He obviously thought he was taking the goal kick and Raya was rolling it to him- and not taking it. So if Raya said he wasn't taking the goal kick and just giving it to Gabriel for him to take it? They both obviously didn't hear the whistle so the ref applied common sense- no attempt to gain an advantage at all. Refs are bad enough at the moment, and I'd say it's precisely because they can't apply common sense as much as they used to.

  3. I can't believe people are arguing to give this. You know, not every rule of football is as black and white as in the rulebook. For example players wrestling each other to the ground before a corner kick. Technically the referee can give a penalty if a defender knocks an attacker to the ground… But the referees only give verbal warnings and then allow play to continue. All sorts of foul throws not given. Free kicks taken too quickly or from the wrong spot. This is a simple misunderstanding. Does not affect or impede in the play, does not affect bayern retrieving the ball in any shape or form. To punish this and potentially impact the ultimate winner in the champions league would be beyond harsh. I hope if there was a penalty awarded, bayern would miss in the spirit of the game.
