  1. I'm a neutral fan, I don't support any german team, and my unbiased opinion is that Bayern should keep the points.

Let's be honest here, Bayern gained nothing because of those few seconds with one extra man.

Also, the score was pretty clear: 4-1, so Bayern was clearly the better team and deserved the win.
It's not like it was a tight game won by a single goal difference.

I know the rules say otherwise, but we can't always apply them. Why ? Because each situation is different, it has nuances that make a difference. And since you can't have a quintillion rules (to account for every single possible scenario), sometimes you have to set the guidelines aside and judge the particular case as it is. And in this case, I think it's quite obvious that Bayern deserves to keep the points.

  2. Last time I've checked, if the substituted player doesn't come off, there's no substitution (e.g. CR7's case). And player can't come on the pitch until 4th referee let's him in. IMO there's no case for Bayern's forfeit.

  3. It's a stupid rule. Refs have a job and shouldn't push responsibilities to the teams… But if I'm Freiburg im protesting. Making it to the CL might earn them up to 10millions. This is when morals go out the window

  4. It was 12 seconds in which nothing happened, it would be absoultey silly to change the result of the whole game especially since Bayern at that point was already leading 3-1, nothing could've changed the outcome of those few seconds in that match.

Also, in regards to Wolfsburg they played for like 20 minutes with their 6th substitution on the filed which absolutely could've changed the outcome of the match not mere seconds.

  5. OMG Jan so you were in the conversation when Hassan and Oliver begged the Freiburg Sporting Director? Cause surely this isn't what was reported in the way you make it out to be? You'd love Bayern to forfeit the game wouldn't you? Maybe focus on Halaand cause that's your primary focus.

  6. Why should Bayern loose the game 2-0 ? Is it not the Referees & their assistant jobs to stop the match when it happened ? these things happen once in a while in a football pitch, but it would be an utmost injustice to take away this magnificient victory from Bayern. Btw, Freiburg were abysmal on latter quarter of second half, Bayern would have played with 6 players and still score 2 more goals. So, if Freiburg protest against it, Dortmund should protest against Freiburg too as to how is it fair to award 3 points to a loosing team because of Referees & their assistants mistake. FFS there are about 100 cameras everywhere on modern game of football, why is it Bayern's fault that they were not pointed out this mistake ?
