  1. Bayern ate like Juventus. Domination of there leagues is a negative when.playing in Europe. I know bayern won in 2020 but was freak year, covid, one leg qtr and semis, crazy results. Villarreal deserve there win. They did the job. Bayern will continue dominating German football though backed by adidas and a brilliantly ran club. Just like to see Dortmund,Leipzig, frankfurt being able to challenge consistently throughout the season. These clubs constantly selling there players yo bayern.too is crazy.

  2. I said before I'll say it again there that team that get lucky & make it to semis we seen this before, but it stops against Liverpool they won't get lucky a third time. Go look at the stats vs Bayern & United not very much Juventus cause they currently suck rn

  3. I feel better for Juve now lol….it felt embarrassing crashing at home but if Villarreal can take out Bayern unbeaten over 2 legs, then any team can lose to them. However Liverpool's direct and aggressive play may end this amazing fairy tale run for this talented side. Hope they can win CL

  4. They depend too much on Davies. That’s the issue. I mean he pretty much controls the whole left side of the field by himself. He can defend, he can dribble, he can create for others, he can run down the wing and the thing is they have become too dependent of that. Without him their game is not the same at all. Credit to Villareal, they knew how to beat a team like Bayern. Being aggressive until they get a lead and after on pulling an Atletico to try and hold on to it. And they kept their composure even after conceding. They never really allowed Bayern to take over and them scoring first in this matchup was huge. That’s what normally makes Bayern great. If you concede against Bayern first, you’ll probably lose and by a huge margin too. The need for a goal leads to team focusing too much on the attacking end and when Bayern gets a possession back, they just capitalize on that possession. But scoring first with no Davies really helped Villareal. They really knew how to deal with this juggernaut which only have a dozen teams can do in the world, maybe even less.

  5. The score was very misleading too, as are the 23 "shots" (most of which unthreatening). Bayern's 2nd leg performance was worse than Juve's. Very sedate, passing the ball slowly before crossing aimlessly towards Albiol and Torres who are among the best in Europe for headed clearances. Nagelsmann has destroyed Flick's system which allowed full backs to bomb forward and double team oppositions with their wingers. The three-man backline brings nothing since the 3 Frenchmen are hesitant to bring the ball out of defence and prefer to pass it safe.

  6. This is embarrassing for Villareal. Villareal parked the bus. Who wanted to watch this boring display of football by Villareal? This football was terrible. What club wants to sign one of the Villareal strikers or outfield players after this performance? I don't know a single Villareal fan personally. All other football clubs, including the Serie A, have moved away from this awful brand of football. Even though Chelsea used to park the bus, they don't anymore, fans don't want to see that garbage.

  7. The problem for big spenders like Bayern is the pool of quality players generally has diminished immensely the demise of Messi and Ronaldo has left a void no one is stepping into. Big spenders can no longer cherry pick quality from lesser clubs and are being exposed as a result
