  1. Bayern feeds of the rest of the league talent wise. The rest do not have a chance to really compete for the title now. Another two strong clubs would make them more sharp. Dortmund, Leverkusen or others need to step up and Bayern should help them indirectly. Look at what Juventus did by byuing the best players from other teams in Serie A during their dominance. It gets counterproductive.

  2. Given Bayern's treatment of the Bundesliga this couldn't happen to the club quick enough,EUFA regularly hit clubs such as Man City and PSG but no club in Europe has abused it's financial position ( within it's own league) more than Bayern.

  3. Thomas Muller is only 32 he still has 4-5 years left, moving away from the 4-2-3-1 high press is fucking them over, a 3-4-3 simply doesn't work in german football, Leipzig tried it, they literally had more foreigners than Germans, it's just stupid moving away from the 4-2-3-1

  4. Ibrahimovic’s career should be the envy of many players.
Sweden, holland, Spain, Italy, France, England, USA.
And he has proved himself everywhere except maybe Germany but that is because they don’t pay well.
Ronaldo has also done similar: Portugal, England, Spain, Italy and has won trophies there.
Bayern players like lewandoski would be looking to at least go to other leagues too

  5. They definitely need to look at their replacement for Lewa. Bayern are great at seemingly integrating players they bought years prior for when a star leaves like Kimmich for Lahm. They don’t have a striker lined up yet to take Lewas place.

  6. One person, that hasn't really been mentioned here, that has been under heavy criticism is Hasan Salihamidžić. In german football the role of manager is really only the role of coach, setting up a system and plan tactics. They are much less involved in building the roster. The person responsible for that has been Salihamidžić and the roster has some massive holes. Their defense is lacking consistency, they lack quality outside defenders and they do not have a true defensive midfielder, they all play more forward, than their role would suggest. In general a lot of payers lack an adequate replacement, the main team has been exhausted pretty much since mid season. This summer need more than just 2 transfers from Ajax even if everyone stays and I hope the bayern management is aware of this.

  7. With Sule already confirmed while Adeyemi and Schlotterbeck are 90% confirmed, I feel quite optimistic about next season. If only we can also sign a competent medical staff and avoid having 200 torn muscles per season…

  8. It's more serious than it looks. Bayern like to hide behind the "well run club" slogan. But being well run is little good when even the worst run club in England earns more in TV rights than Bayern. Also letting Flick go to spend 25 million on an inferior manager isn't the hallmark of a well run club. By not backing the ESL – whatever one may think about the morals of this competition – Bayern have painted themselves into a corner where they can't compete with PSG, Real and English clubs on wages.

Tactically Nagelsmann is at sea, wanting to play with a three-man central defence even though his CBs are scared to push forward. Very uninspiring performances this season.

  10. i think vlahovic would have been the perfect replacement. maybe if lewy stays for a couple of years bayern might be able to make an offer to juve and sign him but not now because he just joined the itaöian club

  11. I kept wondering what that noise was that I was hearing through my headphones…or was it something outside? It turned out to be unnecessary and very annoying music in the background of an otherwise excellent video.

  12. I have always seen bayern Munich has the perfect role model of a football club. Fan owned, ex players on the board, amazing stadium signing players for free and developing young players who are underappreciated by other big clubs.

In my opinion people are overblowing Bayern's "demise". There are so many players that whose contract expire this season and next so bayern Munich don't need to spend one single penny on fees and can rebulid and become stronger.

Has a Juventus fan i can only wish to have Bayern's infrastructure.

  13. The problem at Bayern is the traitorous behavior of the board not showing respect to players. They let go Alaba and lied about him wanting too much when negotiations could of been met same is gonna happen Lewandowski. They let Thiago when they could ask Coutinho to lower his wages and stayed plus perisic and Thiago instead they just chose there route and thats save money let go great players and now there suffering. To add to that they hire a immature coach thats not the man for the job. He come here to fix the youth system but this guy trying to change everything in his name and its not working. Hansi already imprinted greatness and this kid trying to change it.

  14. As a Bayern fan since 1986 (since I met the team as a youth player ) I wish the Bundesliga would be more competitive. However I always loved that we are competitive in Europe. But the new managers of the club seem lost. I loved them as players. But Khan and the other dude…can’t spell his name suck. They literally said we don’t have to make moves on the transfer market goes beyond my comprehension. BRING BACK RUMMENIGGE AND HOENESS

  15. Personally I think Bayern should move away from wingers and play a 3-5-2 just like Leipzing used to. It would solve many problems. You have 3 CBs instead of two. You have a packed midfield so you can overrun it and control it. You have a bigger midfield shield in front of those 3 CBs. You play Davies on the left side of that 5 man midfield and Mazroui or even Kimmich on the right side. So when Bayern are under pressure those two positions can run back and it essentially gives Bayern FIVE defenders PLUS the 3 more central midfielder in front of them for even more cover. When in attack Davies and Mazroui can provide the wing play and crosses and both would be actually providing those crosses and passing instead of dribbling uselessly and trying to cut in for themselves the majority of the time like Gnabry and Sane does. The 3 central mids can be Kimmich, Goretzka and Gravenberch. And the 2 forwards can be Lewandowski as the spearhead at ST with someone else playing the SS with a bit more of a free role. Heck even Gnabry would be half decent as SS. Muller if he remains can start or be backup. Maybe a Dybala who is rumored to leave or someone else. Nkunku would be perfect for that role but I doubt Bayern can actually sign him rn.

    I would do something like this;

    Lewandowski

    Dybala (Gnabry)

    Gravenberch

    Davies Goretzka Kimmich Mazroui

    Hernandez Rudiger Upamecano

    Neuer

Skriniar would be preferred to Rudgier and Nkunku would be preferred over Dybala but those would be expensive transfers. Dybala still offers a lot in terms of attacking. He's excellent at keeping the ball, excellent delivery, excellent at breaking defenses down. Especially in a more dominant team like Bayern who see more of the ball in their opponent's final 3rd than Juventus he could flourish. Also has goals in him. And Rudiger while not as good as Skriniar imo has still been vital to that Chelsea defense over the last 2 years plus the added bonus of him being German so he could settle in easier. Maybe add someone like a De Vrij as well for added depth and experience at CB who would be a lot cheaper than Skriniar. Maybe keep Muller for 1 year as a super sub for Dybala. In either case something like this would look good at least on paper. They can sell Coman, Sane or Gnabry to raise the funds. But for me those wingers have to get taken out of the side. They do more wrong than good especially in key games against tougher oppositions. The midfield and defense needs some shaking up and need some additions. That should be non negotiable. Overall that side I drew up is very realistic. Dybala is almost guaranteed to go from Juventus and he is high skill but his value has fallen so there's no excuse that Bayern can't afford him. And Rudiger is German and on a free this summer so again…very doable. Gravenberch and Mazroui are practically confirmed already. I think that team and a good bench could compete on all fronts for the next 2-3 seasons. Decent defense, packed midfield with tons of versatility and quality. Great shape which again is very versatile for both attacking and helping defensively when need be. And quality and difference makers up top. Easily a top 5 CL favorite.

  16. Bayern aren't good enough to dominate Europe like Real Madrid who won the CL in 1998,2000,2002 & 2014, 2016,2017,2018 and possibly 2022. What have Bayern achieved in comparison? Lost the final in 1999, 2010, 2012 and got humiliated in 2014 in the semi final. 6 European cups in 50 years in the competition is a joke for a club who are arguably the most consistent club side in the history of the UCL. Look at Chelsea they're slowly catching up to Man United in Europe. Bayern's favourite competition is the Bundesliga they're not interested in the CL what a stupid bunch of people.

  17. German clubs will fall behind internationaly, because having investors is basically a necessety to compete internationaly and 50+1 prevents that option. Without that much international money and the fact that thez have to replace a lot of key players soon will open the opportunity for Leipzig, Dortmund or maybe another club to win a season in the near future. With the way football is developing I'm happy if the Bundesliga falling behind and exists in its bubble of no international invenstment groups or oil multies involved.

  18. Interesting review. However, I don't think Bayern loosing to Villareal says that much about the Bundesliga. Yes, the seventh of the Spanish League eliminated the first of the Bundesliga, but two days later the ninth of the Bundesliga Frankfurt eliminated the second of the Spanish League Barcelona which could lead to the exact opposite conclusion.
