  1. Ale speaks like a selfish #9 who feels personally attacked by the suggestion that modern top clubs don't need traditional strikers. They don't. And the truth is Lewandowski was never great for Bayern in the Champions League knockouts.

  2. Last year= Musiala, Sane, Gnabry, Müller etc…= Pass to Lewandowski.

    This Year= Do it yourself.

Let's be realistic…it isn't that great over a long period to have a team depending on the daily form of one player….see Barca/Messi…who lost not only Messi but Neymar…

Bayern started playing a lot better after Robben was purchased (for example) so Ribery wasn't our only creative player.

It is important to have multiple player share the burden of scoring goals….and defending against goals.

Mane is a completely different character….and personally I like him a lot more than Lewandowski….who every couple years showed his character when talking about moving to Real Madrid.
Funny he now smiles in the camera for Barca…. don't get me wrong, Lewandowski is a world class striker…. probably the 2nd best in Bundesliga history….but was he loved for his personality….or because he scored goals. To be a legend, I expect both….that's why Ribery or Robben are beloved…. Lewandowski not so much.

  3. Eat your heart out, Moreno! It'd dp you really good to show some more humility. I know, shhow business and all, but hey, those who lean too far out of the window and insist on knowing more than anybody else will take a tumble some day. Oh and…where did you play again in your professional career? Mostly the MLS? I rest my case.

  4. Let's be honest guys, though I am a Bayern fan living in Germany, Bundesliga is weaker than premier league. I mean, this also is no wonder if you look into the financial power of these clubs. Nonetheless, I hate hearing the term "farmers league", because this is just disrespectful. Frankfurt is a good example, which is a team finishing 11th last season but still able to win the Euroleague. Furthermore, Bayern does not win only because the teams are weak. Bayern wins because when they are on a roll, they play the finest football in existence.

Overall, I would say Bayern is on par with city and Liverpool with the results depending on their performance on that day.

  5. Lewandowski was the target man of Bayern Munich. Now their attacking is more fluid and unpredictable.

5 goals. 5 different player. Insane.

Teams will figure out how to detroy Bayern's game plan. And than we will talk about missing Lewy. That's how it works.

  6. People would ignore the fact that eversince Bayern's 3Peat Mid 70's They have been the Club to beat – all Legendary Clubs went or got stopped by Munich – late 70's Sleepool, late 80's Milan and so on the European Classico which Bayern led till CR7 & Refs to tie it

They have come and gone but Bayern even Madrid sleeps have and is the Club to beat for 6 decades going

  7. 4:20 FFS they havent been "chasing" him!
How many frkn times did they say that they won´t/can´t go for him?!
Lewandowski himself said, that Haaland had nothing to do with his decision.
    4:52 YES IT IS!!!!
They played so much better than at the end of last season, finally scoring some bangers after most games were pretty mediocre during the last 6 months.
They gus is almost 34 … was time to move on and now they are improving FAST!
Look how Musiala plays? Gnabry?! They were both fantastic!

  8. Why is everyone comparing the two? Every single player has different characteristics. It’s like saying people are saying Mane is more of a team player in an effort to cushion the fact that he won’t score as many goals as Lewandowski did. I never heard Lewandowski’s former teammates say that he wasn’t a team player. Give the comparisons a break and appreciate both players
