  1. He was a shitty signing to begin with and then he flopped. What’s to talk about his skillset was run fast and keeping his body between the ball and now he is getting older and slower and when that’s all There is to your skillset you’ll end up becoming shit

  2. Where did this idea that Mane isn’t violent come from? He had a number of screaming matches with salah and wasn’t afraid of a shove. He has elbowed multiple opponents and has a fuck ton of yellows considering his position. His punch up with Sane shouldn’t be considered “uncharacteristic”

  3. The thing is Mane was like this for a long time at Liverpool as well in his last 2 seasons till the last 6 months. What made Mane so good for so many years was his Pace, strength and stamina, now those qualities are slowly declining which is why in his last six months at Liverpool Klopp eventually had to change the system for him to play as a false 9 then he was able to find a lot of success in that position. I don't know what Bayern are playing him as i don't watch them but if it requires a lot of energy Mane is not their man. As a Liverpool fan even tho i wouldn't take him back because we have to move forward i still miss him. He was top player when our team was on top and when our team was underpressure was a clutch player. Don't know if i remember the stat correctly but he has the most winning or equalizing goals for us after 90 min, we would surely atleast be top 4 with him. He will always be a Liverpool legend!

  4. All liverpool players are overrated. They are the biggest example of system players. 90 percent of their players dosent even start for their national teams. They are good players in great system. Mane is nothing else

  5. He was part of a great trio, but thought he was the main man in the trio.. he was wrong. Together they were awesome.. on their own… even Salah has had a poor season compared to his previous ones.

  6. FSG wouldn’t pay mane what he was worth.. same with GG, and other top players who have left LFC. But LFC is a special place that brings the best out of players. And turns them into world class.. the grass is not always greener. But FSG should treat these players with more respect..

  7. Mane to Bayern was a weird signing in the first place imo🤔…

Wouldn't he surprised if Mane joins Barcelona, they also like weird signings.
He's probably going to stay at Bayern or move to Italy🤔

  8. As a liverpool fan who watched every single Mane game at the club for a few seasons I have to say I’m not surprised by the decline.

Mane peaked in our title winning season. Since then something happened and he wasn’t the same since. Maybe it was the hamstring injury or something else. He just wasn’t the same. The quality in front of goal was still there but there was always something he couldn’t pull off time and time again.

during the covid season when we had everyone injured his bad runs of form could be attributed to the team not firing on all cylinders. In his last season when we almost won everything something was just not quite right. As a wide player you’d find him trying to take on someone an entire match and it just wasn’t working out. The goals where there and when they were not Salah was in the form of his life pampering over the cracks.

His move to a false nine position helped a lot. He didn’t have to rely on his athleticism as much which wasn’t the same. All he had to do was link up play and boy did he do it well. This new Mane was bliss but when he announced his departure it felt right.

The mane we’d remember is the one who dragged us to the champions league final and pushing for all the titles all the way. His legacy wouldn’t be the wide forward trying stuff while it’s not just working out.

If Bayern were expecting the explosive winger who brought terror to every defender and not the false 9 who was the closest thing we had to firmino they were in for a surprise. The injury probably didn’t for him and the club to figure out his place. But the decline isn’t a surprise.

He’s still a quality player and no doubt he’ll be vital for Bayern soon but he’s not the same player he was at his peak and Bayern should figure out a role that suits his current offfering
