A plucky little Europa League team gave the European giants FC Bayern a scare there
Bayern won,but it was Liverpool who lost great opportunities to score a fourth goal after their 3-2 lead.Even though they lost,they confirmed once again their very good record they have against german clubs,which goes as far back as the 70s.Moenchengladbach (3 times),HSV,Bayern(in 1981,in 2019 and in 2001 in the European Super Cup) and Dortmund in 2016 have all fallen victims to Liverpool.
With this bad defence, we won't move forward. Our strikers score, and our defenders and midfielders collapse and gift the match easily. I know it is a pre-season match, but nothing changed in our slow inaccurate passes and the horrible errors repeated the same as in last season.
What a team Liverpool rebuilt. Bayern still strong….
