From a Newcastle fan thinking with my heart, I say we keep Trippier and have him do his coaching badges and never leave Newcastle United, like EVER!! Thinking with my head, he's 33, will be almost 34 when next season kicks off, if we get back what we paid for him, take it, thank him, and wish him well. We have Tino. Same with Almiron, £30m for a player who is almost 30, paid off, giving us around £120m to spend under the ridiculous rules of FFP or PSR or PS2 or whatever the chuff they are calling the handicap to progressive clubs now. We need to evolve, we need to move on. Just write this season off, and welcome back injured players, and sign some decent one's with the funds in the summer. Spurs didn't have European football this season, look at them, they're flying. That will be us next season, only better!!

The Mackems were very loud when they sang about Kieran’s marital infidelities. Even in the away end we were embarrassed for him. I knew then he had to move on!
Very sad – but when the opposition fans run through your problems – you’re finished!
I also wonder about about Amanda. When she got off the bus the Mackems sang “ Amanda Staveley , she melts in the sun”. I’d snook in amongst the Mackems and Amanda looked visibly distressed and almost in tears when she walked through the entrance.
