Leverkusen positionings is world class and labour rate is immensly high. As you can see, this doesnt have anything to do with talent but hard work. From this they developed their mind set to play the ball in very narrow windows. The result is fun to watch. Bayern werent too bad but the composure of Leverkusen had an impact on Bayern too.

Never understood why Bayern ever hired Tuchel, they are a way better club than him. They need to move from him.

Its to early to say anything about xabi on what he's targeting to achieve within the capability of his current team but it is nice to see him giving such creativity gameplay 😉
Leverkusen plays an almost perfect season so far. They still havn't lost a match in any competition. That alone is insane. Then you look at HOW they play and you one can not imagine how they could not win the league. they might even get the triple.
The problem in Bayern is (and has been for so long) Leroy Sane. Now go watch the video againt and compare Wirtz's movements with Sane's. Not only is he ineffective in possesion, but doesn't offer no real help neither in the buildup nor when the opponent has the ball. Even a "selfish" Robben did much more defensively than him, not to mention when having the ball. Tuchel doesn't have enough good players and that's a fact. He can try everything possible but as long as he has no real DM and Sane, there won't be an attractive playing Bayern.
Alonso and Leverkusen are doing extremely well now, But its still too early to list Alonso with some of the world best manager.
Claudio Ranieri won the Epl with a very unfancy Leicester City F.C.

Yeah Leverkusen go nuts this season. Xabi obviously is a great coach. I hope he stays there for some more years and builds a legacy before he joins a big club like Liverpool. I wonder how good they will do in the champions league next season. 🙂

I'm a Bayern fan but to be honest I couldn't even be mad. Yes Bayern played very poorly, but seeing Leverkusen play with this much confidence and team cohesion is just really attractive to watch. I knew what I was getting into and I expected to see an interesting Leverkusen side. But they still blew my expectations. This is what makes football enjoyable to me. Absolutely deserved if they win the title this year if they keep playing like this. Nobody has come closer in deserving it the last decade.

Stuff like this wont last. Itll catch up to them because they wont be able to maintain the same tactics. Next season leverkuson wont even qualify for Europe leagues. Look at girona, suffering, leciester city did the same. Theres a reason why clubs are revered for being the greatest of all time because of there consistency, i.e, Barcelona, Man city, arsenal, Man u, and of course bayern munich

Tuchel had some interesting tactical aspects but it just didn’t work out because of the lack of creativity by the players and great tactics from Leverkusen.
