Rules are the rules. If we start bending rules bc “Bayern weren’t pressing, players didn’t protest, magnitude of the game” then we are screwed
It was handball…
Where was the common sense when amad was red carded for removing his shirt seconds before the end of the game
He could have scored if he didn’t dive
its a foul on neuer ??? lolololololololololololollolollolol
10M is 30 yards
Gabby is backibg the English team why some pundits are so biase. The rules are the rules
This is why I hate British media always biased…it was a frigging foul simple….what that hell is common sense law…his explanation is showing footballers r stupid
So is this the kiddies league or are there millions of Pounds at stake … people invest so much money in the game only for the referee to 'not take a blatant rule infringement seriously' … Gabby you should be commenting on kids football then where everyone gets a trophy and rules are merely guidelines … to say common sense prevailed in what is considered the epitome of European club football is laughable … but as has been the case in the Premier League, refereeing standards are abysmal
Have you read the laws of the game code? The introduction:
"Reference is made in Law 5 to referees operating within the framework of the
Laws of the Game and the ‘spirit of the game’. Referees are expected to use
common sense and to apply the ‘spirit of the game’ when applying the Laws of
the Game, especially when making decisions relating to whether a match takes
place and/or continues. "
Did you just discard the Kane thingy…..wow😮
Saka no penalty he flung his leg in the keeper who stood tall
Amad sent off for taking his shirt off in last few seconds after scoring a winner……common sense, yeah?
Rules are rules! Let these things slide where does it end? Its a slippery slope.
Ball in play, Handball, Penalty…….what is the problem.
And i'm afraid this is where football has fallen too….the level of cheating and shithousery is killing the game.
Gabby what a load of rubbish hand ball is hand ball how's he getting air time so your saying if there's no pressure then we can just pick the ball up This guy has no shame
If Bayern had fans and called hand ball I reckon he would of called pen I believe he made a mistake the ref
Never ever ever thought I'd agree with Gabby, but here we are. It would have been the most pathetic penalty EVER. This exact scenario happens allllll the time with free kicks.
Andy so daft he says it’s a charge and not a blocking foul. Ffs.
Referees don't do things to the law, and make decisions at their discretion. If salibas touch of ball is a hand ball that lightly. Then many back passes, plays from the back with GK and CB would all be Pens. Arsenal are robbed of solid pens most weeks sometimes even multiple times in the same game. Letter of law didn't matter. Its the decision of the ref that matters.
Sakas pen was more of a pen then the one bayern got 😊
By the letter of the law it is a pen but to be honest if it wasn’t given for my team I wouldn’t be that bothered. If the saka one was given against my team I’d be fuming.
As a Striker growing up, if I didn't go down, I wouldn't get the call. I still feel Saka should have shot the ball, but I still feel he had no choice but to go down on contact
Andy is a wasteman 😂😂
Worrying how many football fans don’t understand football! obv ignore gabby because he is a neanderthal, the gabriel handball couldn’t be more clear if you tried.. if the ball is live and u pick it up then it is a handball end of story. The saka dive is undeniable too! Stevie wonder could see that HE initiated the contact, the ref actually should have booked him.
Agbonlahor here is showcasing once again exactly why he is one of the most deluded and unintelligent pundits in the UK.
It is absolutely irrelevant whether Bayern were pressing or how far any of there players are when Gabrielle hand balled it, the rules are clear it should have been a penalty and most Arsenal fans who arent hyper tribal admit the same. Even the ref admitted afterwards he made an error and should have awarded a penalty to Bayern.
