  1. The African players in Liverpool are constantly being bullied, they are the Top performers yet being paid as Amateurs. No one is talking about that. I bet if Mane or Mo Sala was European there would have been a far cry to Liverpool to ensure they stay at all cost. This is a disgrace ? Shame to Liverpool.

  2. How is bayern not much of a challenge if the champions league didn't exist do u think bayern will get mane no their team is already killing it…. point is ucl is why he was bought.. bayern haven't done well in the ucl lately and bayern believe mane would help… the discussion should be Liverpool who got to the finals isn't much of a challenge for sadio

  3. In Diaz and Nunez, Liverpool should – all being well – have already replaced Mane in the aggregate with enough quality to even exceed his goals & assists contribution. And given the increased number of subs available these days it's not such a big problem to replace one player with two. Klopp has handled this about as well as can be expected, and I wish Mané well at Munich (until any time he's playing us)!

  4. As a Liverpool fan, I always had one question, why was Mane's Salary never bumped up. People like Chamberlain were being paid more than Mane! That was the bone of contention from the Mane camp….and rightfully so!

  5. Mane will be getting 360k a week from Bayern as compared to the 140k LFC agreed with Nunez. Not likely LFC would want to extend Mane at 360k, so he would leave end of next season anyway, and LFC would lose out on the 35m transfer fee needed to subsidise a world class replacement.

If LFC extended Mane at 360k a week, it would cost the club an extra 34m over the next 3 years as compared to what was agreed with Nunez. Combined with the 35m transfer forgone, that's 69m and just 16m shy of the 85m for Nunez, who will be just 25 in 3 years time.

Very sad to see Mane go but likely a win win for all concerned.

  6. Based on Mane’s numbers, he’s one of the best strikers right now. Crazy ?. Sad to see him go. Great for Bayern, great for their fans, sad for the Premier League but because they’re losing a great asset

  7. Very sad to see him go. Honestly, I was one calling for him to be replaced after the 20/21 season (where he & us in general were poor throughout) but he has revitalised himself in 21/22, particularly recently in his central role. Hoping Darwin can rise to another level & hit the ground running because he has MASSIVE boots to fill.

  8. As a liverpool fan its sad to see him go, he is a player that works for the team always, no big ego and humble i also think he fits perfect into that bayern squad they need wingers that work when you want to play 9 attackers 1 defender and a goalkeeper formation

  9. Mane 100% can unlock the goals with top top teams. I think diaz can't do that with the top teams yes has pace, CDs Lb will make run out of space. If nunez can find space for goals great work. Diaz LW, nunez goes to LW always then nunez cuts in.. mo will be leaving next season he wants new challenges too believe me you heard it here frist.

  10. Come on .come on now..
Losing mane is NOT GOOD and stop playing games. Diaz is not effective as mane. He has potential and we dont know the future .but we know mane and what he brings because he has done it for years . So stop pretending like " it's a good deal for everyone " …rubbish

  11. I'm always amazed at these pundits, a different challenge doesn't always mean going to a tougher challenge or league. Sometimes you want to test yourself within a different group. I'm in the tech business, I was working with corporations, but now I mostly work with startups because I want to challenge myself and bring them into mainstream. New challenge isn't about being being tough, one might also want to challenge themselves into settling into a new city. Craig Burley!

  12. Lets be brutally honest here was mane great absolutely but you can’t deny that his performances were declining since 2020 he only picked up form again when he was moved as a false 9 & we played 3 finals with him leading the line we scored 0 , actually i ve screaming for a N9 since 2021 after the goal drought we had i wanted Kane but Nunez seems like a good talent so technically mane has no place in the starting XI Diaz has been on fire on the left Salah owns the right & Nunez will be our N9 i doubt sadio would’ve accepted a bench role like bobby so him going for 41m considering his age & contract situation is a great thing tbh if we didn’t sign Diaz in January even with Nunez in i would be against selling sadio but now we have Diaz Salah Jota Firmino Nunez ,5 world class forwards we only need to strengthen midfield and we go again
