  1. Yes, they lack depth for sure but it's more than clear that they will try to sign a RB and a 6 in the winter transfer window. Until then Tuchel has to work with the current players. We're talking about Bayern Munich, they have world class players and Tuchel should concentrate on good tactics instead of constantly demanding new players. That's why they signed him. For crying to the Media and having disagreements with the board they don't have to pay a coach this huge salary.

  2. Bayern Munich despite signing Harry Kane their squad lacks some serious depth in certain positions and we know they’re winning Bundesliga no matter what and I see them as favorites to win the Champions League but I felt like they could do with a right back and another defensive midfielder in the squad maybe one more wide player. Bayern Munich wanted to sign Joao Palinha from Fulham on transfer deadline day and I thought the move was happening but then it fell through apparently and they signed Laimer who’ll be a useful backup option but lack a really good number 6 since Joshua Kimmich is the deep lying playmaker and he’s excellent and plays a lot of great threaded passes but isn’t a holding midfielder same thing with Leon Goretzka and they should’ve gotten another midfielder and there’s no depth in the right back position. They’ll get far in the champions league and on paper Bayern Munich are a much better team than last season after finally getting that number 9 they needed but lack quality depth in certain positions and that’s the only thing that can stop them from winning the champions league this season as whatever happens winning Bundesliga we know they’re doing that anyways.

  3. By the way how many games these players qualified let alone getting goals/assists in the world cup. How about getting the motm performance they have in world cup. How many of these played the world cup knockout , won it and have 1 vote for the golden ball? only Frank played in the wc finals and won that is why he is the pundit here with proud chest though being so st***id.

  4. wow Tuchel having disagreements with management? I wonder where we've seen this before
still don't understand why they sacked Nagelsmann, but exiting the transfer window with 3-4 first team midfielders is a joke regardless of who is the coach

  5. Why do these pundits agree with the take of the first one all the time? Can't you have different opinions? Bayern is pressed all the time to win the CL like the City, so Tuchel has the full right to close all the gaps he has, just like what the City management do with Pep.

  6. Are ESPN kidding?
What Tuchel wants to say with this is simply that it will be tight in terms of the number of players. Let's assume Goretzka gets sick and Laimer gets injured during a game. How many midfielders will Bayern have left? Oh yes, only Kimmich.

The same thing applies to the defense. There is only one skilled right-back. If Mazraoui gets injured or is suspended, who will play the position? Oh well, no one can because they gave away Pavard AND Stanisic.
And Bayern, unlike Dortmund, not only has the championship in mind, but also the Champions League. And for the CL, you need a strong squad that can cope with losses.
